Save the tide Tea Salon Yagura-ya Ato
“Save the tide Tea Salon Yagura-ya Ato” reopened in May 1st, 2012. Today, this place is as the tea Salon; however, it was originally built during Kansei period (1790’s) as a merchant house. And by Meiji period, the place was renovated as Yagura-ya (a merchant where was doing Oars business), then this time again renovated as a tea Salon. Open ceiling, and you will see fine beams. From Japanese tatami room, you will see a court yard; this will make a distinguished atmosphere. This is the best and the brightest if you would like to spend a rich time in Tomonoura.

「鯛茶漬け」など、とにかく、鯛料理が絶品。お造りや定食など、さまざまな鯛料理が愉しめます。こだわりの調度品に囲まれながら、贅沢なお食事の時間を満喫することができます。
1階の土間のスペースには、売店コーナーもあって、ご当地グッズの数々が取り揃えられています。

今回のリニューアルオープンに伴って、今まで開放されていなかった2階にも、一般のお客さんが入れるようになりました。2階は喫茶スペース。椅子などの調度品にもこだわり抜いていて、照明ひとつとってみても、世界観を感じることができます。
こんな空間で、おいしいコーヒーが飲めるなんて…ああ、しあわせ。
